هذا البحث بعنوان "لغة الشعر في سقط الزند لأبي العلاء المعري". وقد حاولت فيه أن أقدم قراءة للغة الشعر في ديوان "سقط الزند" وهو توجه يختلف عما ساد من ألوان النظر إلى شعر أبي العلاء ، واهتماماتها المختلفة، المجافية لطبيعة الشعر، ولذا حاولت عرض مفهومي - الذي لم أبتكره بالطبع- لأهم أبعاد لغة الشعر الفنية، حرصا منى على جلاء الأسس النظرية للبحث، حتى يتبين مدى صحة ما نردده من مبادئ من خلال الجدل والتفاعل بين النظرية والتطبيق.
فقد عنى البحث بلغة الشعر ، فحاولت استخلاص رؤية نظرية متماسكة من خلال الاطلاع على أكثر ما كتب في هذا الصدد وهى كتابات اختلفط فيه الغث بالسمين والحابل بالنابل ، فضلا عن تعدد المناهج النقدية واختلاف اتجاهاتها.
