القرآن الكريم كتاب الله الذى أنزله علي خاتم أنبيائه صلى الله عليه وسلم كله بركة ومنافع, فهو شفاء للعقل والروح والبدن, وقد تعددت الأحاديث الشريفة فى هذا, فمنها ما يذكر فضل قراءة القرآن عامة, ومنها ما يذكر فضل سور معينة فيه, كسورة الملك والدخان و الكهف وما إلى ذلك من أسرار وفضائل لسور القرآن الكريم, ومنها ماهو بين أيدينا الآن فى هذه الصفحات القليلة المستقاة مما أورده الأمامان "القرطبى" و "ابن كثير", وذلك عن فضائل سورة "يس" قلب القرآن الكريم, وفقا لحديث الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم (لكل شئ قلب, وقلب القرآن "يس" من قرءها نهارا كفى همه, ومن قراءها ليلا غفر ذنبه), وقد جاء فى هذا الكتاب على صغر حجمه أحاديث الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم فى هذه الفضائل لهذه السورة العظيمة, وذلك وفقا لروايات عديدة, كذلك احتوى الكتاب على السورة نفسها, وذلك بعد ذكر فضائلها, مختتما صفحاته بدعاء سورة يس.
