الرجاء هو الحياة، وهذه الدراسة فيض من نبع الرجاء، اشراقة من روح الرجاء، وهي موجة في تيار رجاء متصل منذ بزغت عندي فكرة المسئولية الاجتماعية في هزة وجودية عرتني منذ ثلاثين عاما ونيف، بزغت مكتملة، وان كان تاريخ تكوينها وزمان كمونها في عميق من تيار الوعي عندي أبعد من هذا كثيرا، وكانت روافدها في وجودي الروحي والمعنوي بالغة التعدد والتنوع، هي دراسة من نتائج الفكر والتأمل حقا، غير أنه ليس الفكر المتباعد المتدثر بأغطية الموضوعية، بل هو الفكر المفعم بالحماسة، وليس التأمل المستسلم لغواية التجريدية، بل هو التأمل النابض بالدفئ من الحرص القلبي دوما، المتوهج بالحار من العشق أحيانا.
وقد جاءت هذه الدراسة وكأنها رسالة موجهة من ضمير الأمة اليه، أو كأنها من نتائج مواجهة الأمة ضميرها، أو من مساءلة الذات الاجتماعية ذاتها، أو من مساءلة ذاتي المفردة ذاتي الجامعة، أو من مساءلة ذاتي الاجتماعية العامة ذاتها الفردية الخاصة، أو بالمعنى الأعمق الاوفى هي نتائج مساءلة ذاتي ذاتها. ألست أحمل في ذاتي المفردة كوني الاجتماعي الأكبر؟ أليست ذاتي الاجتماعية الثقافية العامة متمثلة هنالك في الغور السحيق من ذاتي المفردة الخاصة؟ أليست مساءلتي ذاتي هي مساءلة للوجود الثقافي الاجتماعي فيها؟ وانه في الغور السحيق من الوجود الثقافي الاجتماعي في عمومه في الجماعة، وفي خصوصه في الذات، ينتفي التعدد أو يكاد، وترتفع المسافات أو تكاد، وتلغي المستويات أو تكاد. في الغور السحيق من الوجود الروحي للانسان تكون الوحدة بين الجماعية الثقافية والفريدة الذاتية.
