من عظيم مننه سبحانه على عباده بتنعمهم في رياض ذكره بتعداد اسماه الحسنى من روضة إلى روضة، ومن مأنس إلى مأنس، ويقال الأغنياء وترددهم في بساتينهم، وعباد الله تنزههم في ظلال أسمائه يستروحون ما له من كشوفات وأسرار جلاله، وكما له وجماله، وهذا الكتاب هو تجليات في أسماء الله الحسنى، حيث يعدد المؤلف أولاً أسماء الله الحسنى، ثم يذكر قصيدة محي الدين بن عربي لينتقل بعد ذلك إلى بيان جماع الأسماء الشريفة في القرآن والحديث وعند السلف الصالح، وعددها مائتان، ثم ليمضي في تجلياته لتوضيح فلسفة كل اسم وآدابه وتأويل الآيات التي ورد بها.
وقد تخلل ذلك بياناً في الصفات وأقسامها والتعطيل، أضاف الناس في معرفة الله، أهل النظر وأهل التشبيه، وأهل التحقيق، مبيناً اسم الله الأعظم، ومقرباً بعد ذلك البراهين العديدة حول وجود الله (برهان التناسل، برهان التمانع، الدليل البديهي، الدليل الصوني، الدليل الاجتماعي... برهان الجمال والخير، حجة كنط الخلقية...) الحجج الكونية الثلاث... الحجة الغائبية... الدليل الأنطولوجي، القرآن وأدلة وجود الله، متناولاً بعد ذلك الحديث حول مسائل مختلفة من مثل تحليل اسمه تعالى، اسم الله هو الأعظم أجمل ما قيل من الدعاء باسم الله الدعاء بـ اللهم... أحسن الخالقين، الآخر، أهل التقوى، وأهل المغفرة.
هذا الكتاب فيه جُماع أسماء الله الحُسْنَى الواردة بالقرآن الكريم وبالأحاديث النبوية، وما تواتر عن السلف الصالح. ويتجاوز عَددُها التسعة والتسعين اسماً المشهورة. ويتناول الدكتور الحفني فلسفة كل اسم وتأويل الآيات التي ورد بها، أو الأحاديث التي تضمنته، وما جاء في الدعاء منه، وحظَّ المؤمن من الاسم، والآداب التي يمكن أن يتحلّى بها كل من يحب أن يستظل بالاسم ويتعين به من الراغبين السالكين طريق الله تعالى.
