نتناول في هذا الكتاب ما يحتاج إليه المسلم الصغير من مسائل فقهية في يسر وسهولة وبما يتناسب مع عقله ليتمكن المسلم الصغير من عبادة ربه عبادة صحيحة، ويكون طاهراً في الحياة الدنيا نافعاً لأهله ومجتمعه، ثم يكون فائزاً عند ربه تبارك وتعالى في الآخرة، كما نتناول فى هذا الكتاب موضوع الطهارة وما يتعلق به مما يتطهر به وما يتطهر منه، وهو الماء والنجاسات.
ثم يتبع ذلك الحديث عن الوضوء من حيث فضله وكيفيته ونواقضه، وما يجب له الوضوء وما يستحب له الوضوء من أعمال، ثم الحديث عن الصلاة من حيث منزلتها، والصلوات المفروضة وشروطها وكيفية أداء الصلاة والآذان والإقامة وما يتعلق بالدعاء بعد الصلاة وفي أثنائها، والحديث عن السنن المؤكدة للصلاة والسنن غير المؤكدة وكذلك الحديث عن المساجد والأماكن التي يجوز فيها الصلاة والتي يبطل فيها الصلاة، وصلاة الجمعة وصلاة العيدين وصلاة المريض.
ثم الحديث عن المرض وفضل الصبر عليه وجزاء الصابرين على المرض وزيارة المريض وآداب الزيارة وثواب الزيارة، ثم الحديث عن الموت والصبر على هذه المصيبة وجزاء الصابرين والصلاة على الميت، ثم الحديث عن الصيام فضل شهر رمضان خاصة وكيفية الصيام وصيام التطوع والمباح فعله فى الصيام والأفعال التي تبطل الصيام.
ثم الحديث عن الدعاء وكيفية إجابة الدعاء والأدعية المتعلقة بالمسلم قبل النوم وأثناء النوم وعند القيام من النوم، وكذلك دعاء الخروج والدخول إلى المنزل، وكذلك الدعاء قبل الأكل وبعد الأكل والسلام والركوب والأذكار وفضلها، وختمنا بما يتم به النفع، كيفية التعامل مع الأهل والجيران من بر الوالدين وصلة الأرحام والإحسان إلى اليتامى والمساكين والإحسان إلى الجار، وختمنا بالحياء لأنه شعبة من شعب الإيمان، ولأنه إن وجد، تحقق الإيمان، وإذا انتفى من حياة المسلم، انتفى الإيمان.
