لا شك ان التكتلات الإقليمية إذا ما أحسنت قيادتها وتوفرت لها الإدارة السياسية تستطيع ان تكون وعاء اقتصادياً ينهل منه كل الأعضاء بل هو حماية ووقاية من الافتراس الاقتصادي الأجنبيى، وفى هذا الإطار يعتبر التكتل الاقتصادي الأوروبي مثالاً حياً لنجاح تجربة التكامل الاقتصادي الإقليمى. فقد أصبح هذا التكتل من أرقى التكتلات الاقتصادية واصبح يؤثر اقتصادياً فى كل التطورات الاقتصادية العالمية، بل استطاع هذا التكتل أن يشارك بفاعلية فى رسم الاطار العام لمنظمة التجارة العالمية وصياغة بنود اتفاقياتها ويقود العالم نحو العولمة وفقاً لمصالحه التى اتفقت وقتها مع مصالح الدول الصناعية الأخرى.
كما أصبح ملازاً لكل أعضائه من الدول الغربية فمن خلاله أنشئ البنك الأوربي لإعادة توزيع الاستثمار الأوربية ومن خلاله أمكن للمواطن الأوربي أن يعامل معاملة المواطن فى أى دولة من دول التكتل أوربي وهذا غيض من فيض.
لم يكن تناول موضوع الدراسة إلا بعد تفكير متآنى، وطويل فى الواقع الاقتصادي السوداني والتحديات التى ستواجهة من خلال تنفيذ اتفاقيات التجارة العالمية.
