يندرج هذا الجزء الفريد ضمن وجه من أوجه التأليف والتصنيف المشتهرة عند علمائنا بالأجزاء المفردة في الحديث الواحد.
وقد جرت عادتهم إفراد بعض الأحاديث؛ لأهميتها في باب من أبواب العلم بالتصنيف.
وفي هذا العلق النفيس، تناول الإمام ابن فورك - رحمه الله - الحديث المشهور "حُبِّبَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ دُنْيَاكُمُ ثَلاَثٌ: النِّسَاءُ وَالطِّيبُ وَجُعِلَتْ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي في الصَّلاَةِ" بالشرح والتعليق، ذاكراً لبعض فوائده ونكته المتعلقة به.
وتكمن أهمِّية هذا الحديث في كونه يتعرض لمقام النبوة وجلال منصبها، والتنبيه على حال المصطفى فيما عُصِمَ فيه، وحُرِسَ مما حُبب إليه من الدنيا، وأنه كان فيه على وجهٍ لا يشغله عن واجب، ولا يصده عن مفروض؛ وأوصل - رحمه الله - هذا التنبيه للعاقل النبيه، بتلوين المعاني، وتحكيم السياق، وإستنطاق المناسبة، وطرح البديل، وتوظيف العلاقات، وترتيب القضايا، وتعداد المزايا، وإستنباط الخبايا؛ لهذا انبرى ابن فورك لتوضيحه وشرحه وتبين درره، حتى لا يحطَّ أحد من قدره صلى الله عليه وسلم ولا يغض من قيمته.
والجزء على صغر حجمه، وقلة صفحاته، ألفيته ماتعاً، تضمن توجيهات علمية نافعة، ومعاني كثيرة؛ حيث بدأه بإيراد سبب تأليفه، وهو سؤال ورده عن قول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: "حُبِّب إِلَيَّ مِنْ دُنْيَاكُمُ".
