هذا الكتاب الرائع الألوان يعلم الطفل الأعداد من 1إلى12، وهي الأعداد الأساسية في تفكير الطفل الرياضي وفي حياته العملية، وضعنا العدد في وسط الصفحة بشكل بارز تلتقطه عين الطفل التقاطاً سريعاً واضحاً، كما كتبناه مع معدوده في أسفل الصفحة رغبة منا في أن يتعلم الطفل اللفظ الصحيح للأعداد ومعدوداتها. وجعلنا في الصفحة المقابلة لكل عدد رسماً يمثله اخترناه من موضوعات يألفها الطفل. أما العقود بين عشرين وتسعين، فقد افرد لكل عقد صفحة واحدة تحتوي رسماً يمثل العدد، وجعلنا العدد نفسه في زاوية الصفحة. والعقود ومعدوداتها هي، بحسب ورودها، كما يأتي: عشرون كتكوتاً، ثلاثون تفاحة، أربعون زهرة، خمسون إجاصة (كمثراة)، ستون موزة، سبعون قطة، ثمانون دولاباً (عجلة)، تسعون برتقالة. وقد روجت الأعداد من 1إلى 100 في صفحات رائعة الألوان جذابة تشويقاً للأطفال وترغيباً.
