ولما كانت من النصيحة التى هى عماد الدين وقوامه النصيحة لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وكانت النصيحة له جامعة كثيرا من خالص القول والفعل ومحكمه مما فيه صلاح رسالته وسنته صلى الله عليه وسلم بتعظيمه ونصره واحياء سنته تعلما وتعليما وتطبيقا ودفاعا عنها وتصحيحها وشرحها ونشرها ونفى التهم عنها والتفقه فى معانيها, رغبت فى القيام لتحقيق بعض وجوه النصيحة له صلى الله عليه وسلم, فآثرت استفراغ الجهد فى نصب نهج بيانى يحاول احكام الفهم والتدبر فى بيان النبوة, ليكون عوناً على حسن الاستنباط من هديه أولا, وحسن القيام بحق سنته صلى الله عليه وسلم ثانيا. اتخذت السياق نهجا بيانيا, فكشفت عن حقيقته تصورا, ثم عن أثره تدبرا فى باب من أبواب الهدى فى بيان النبوة, واذا ما كنت قد أوجزت القول فى التصور النظرى للسياق فانى قد بسطت القول فى تبيان الواقع العملى لذلك فى بيان النبوة, ذلك أن التدبر أكرم عطاء و أنفذ أثرا من التصور. وفى باب تطبيق المنهج آثرت أن يكون ذلك فى بابا اشتجر القول فيه, فأشكل الأمر على بعض أهل العلم, وهو باب حملت فيه السنة المطهرة أمانه القيام بالهدى فيه, فلم يرد فيه من الذكر الحكيم نص صريح. انه باب (منع الحمل) وهو ما يعرف فى كتب السنة بالعزل أى عزل الرجل عن أمته أو زوجه مخافة الحمل.
وقد صنفت أحاديث العزل وفقا لما يدل عليه ظاهر البيان فيها فجعلتها فى بابين وكل باب فصلين: الباب الأول: لما يعطى ظاهره منع وجعلته على فصلين, الباب الثانى: لما يعطى ظاهره اباحته وجعلته- أيضا - على فصلين.
