إن المادة التي تحتويها الصفحات التالية تقع في قسمين؛ القسم الأول: هو مادة زوٌدني بها ضابط متقاعد من "هيئة المخابرات والمهمات الخاصة الاسرائيلية" المعروفة "الموساد". أما القسم الثاني: فهو يحتوي علي صورة من مادة الوثائق الأصلية التي يشير إليها هذا الضابط، وهي عبارة عن حصيلة من بيانات وكشوفات وتقارير وتوجيهات سياسية سرية تتعلق بالشرق الأوسط وبصفة خاصة اسرائيل.
هذه الوثائق العجيبة أو بالأحري "ملخصها" كان قد عرض علي عدد من الصحف والسفارات الأجنبية في لندن خلال شهر آذار /مارس من عام 1976م. وجري تقديم هذا العرض هاتفيا حيث كان المتحدث يقول إنه لم يتسن له الانتهاء من الترجمة بعد، ومع ذلك فإنه يعتقد أن الأوراق تحتوي علي معلومات لها علاقة بالوضع السياسي والاقتصادي في الشرق الأوسط، وإذا كان المخاطب لديه رغبة في الحصول علي تلك الأوراق فعليه أن يبعث بقدر متواضع من المال مقابل "ملخص" لها، وسوف يكون ذلك جاهزاً خلال بضعة أيام، ولكنه إذا أراد الترجمة الكاملة للأوراق فإن ذلك سيتطلب بعض الوقت. وأعطي رقماً لصندق بريد في مدينة "اكسفورد" قائلاً لمستقبلي مكالمته إنه بالإمكان الاتفاق بشأن الترجمة الكاملة للوثائق.
