يُعتَبر كتاب لغتي الفصحى للصَّفِّ الثَّاني الأساسي هو الحلقة المُتَمِّمَة لكتاب الصَّف الأوّل الأساسيّ، فبعد أن تعرّف التلميذ على الحروف وأشكالها وتعلَّم كتابتها متَّصلة في الصّفَ الأوّل، يصل اليوم مع هذا الكتاب إلى إستثمار ما تعلّمه في كتابة النصوص أوليَّة تُعتبر المدخل للتَّعبير السَّليم في مختلف الفنون الأدبية.
وبناءً عليه فقد ارتأينا تقسيم كتابنا هذا بحسب أساليب الكتابة، فجاء المحور الأوَّل ليتناول (الحوار) في أربعة نصوص مستوحاة من بيئة التِّلميذ ومواقفه اليوميَّة بطريقة تتضمَّن تسليط الضَّوء على القِيَم الإجتماعية المطلوب الإلتزام بها (الرفق بالحيوان، قبول الآخر، وعدم الكذب...) ويليه المحور الثاني (وصف الإنسان) الذي يسافر فيه التّلميذ إلى عوالم جديدة عبر نصوص لطيفة ليتمكَّن في نهايتها من كتابة نصِّ الوصفين الداخليّ والخارجيّ.
ويتدرّج الوصف في المحور الثَّالث ليصل إلى (وصف الطّبيعة) في فصولها المختلفة فيتعرّف التّلميذ على ما يحيط به من مظاهر طبيعيّة في كل أيام السَّنة.
أما المحور الرَّابع فهو (محور الرسالة) وفيه يتدرّب التِّلميذ على كيفيَّة مخاطبة الآخرين عبر رسالة يوجِّهها إليهم وذلك بالإعتماد على ثلاثة نصوص مختلفة إضافة إلى الدَّرس الأخير الذي يتعلَّقُ بكتابة بطاقة دعوة.
ونصل إلى المحور الخامس (محور القصّة) الذي يجمع بين ما تقدَّم في محوري (الحوار) و(الوصف) ليُستخدم في كتابة قصّة بعد معالجة ثلاث قصص اختيرت من مصادر مختلفة وهي تعالج موضوعات تسلِّط الضوء على تصرفات يستحسن الإبتعاد عنها (الطَّمع)، أو على ميزة يجدر التحلّي بها (إستخدام العقل في مواضع الشِّدَّة)، وهذا في سياق متَّصل يصل في نهايته التلميذ إلى كتابة قصّة بعناصرها الكاملة، وحينها نكون قد حقَّقنا هدفنا الذي نصبو إليه من خلال تقديمنا لهذا الكتاب.
