Book Description
الهجاء غرض من الأغراض الشعرية الذي تمتد جذوره عميقاً في تربة الشعر حتى تصل إلى الشعر الجاهلي، وكان له شعراؤه الذين ذاع صيتهم من أشهرهم المخبّل القريعي، حيث كان أهجى العرب ثم كان من بعده حسان بن ثابت ثم الحطيئة والفرزدق وجرير والأخطل، هؤلاء الستة الغاية في الهجاء وفي غيره لم يكن في الجاهلية ولا في الإسلام لهم نظير.
ولقد اشتهرت مناظرات الهجاء بين الأخطل وجرير حين إنحاز الأخطل إلى الفرزدق على جرير بحضرة بشر بن مروان، أو في أثناء زيارته له، كما استطارت هذه النقائض بين الشاعرين بحكم موقف جرير في صفٌ قيسٍ، وقد تكون حادثة بشر صحيحة، ولكن ليست كل الأسباب في إندفاع الشاعرين إلى التهاجي، فوراءها سبب أعمق في موقف الشاعرين لهذا العصر من الخصومات القبلية، إذ كان الأخطل لسان قومه تغلب.
بينما اتخذ قيس في المربد جريراً لسانها، فكان من الضروري أن يصطدم اللسانان المعبّران عن الطرفين، سواء هاج ذلك بشرٌ في نفس الأخطل، أو لم يهجْهُ، وإن نفس وقوف بشر مع الفرزدق ضد جرير، إنما يرجع إلى موقف جرير مع الزبيريين ومع القيسيين خصوم بني أمية.
ومهما يكن فقد اصطدم شاعر تغلب بشاعر قيس، فدخلا في هذه المعارك التي أنتجت لنا هذه النقائض الطريفة بين الأخطل التغلبي المسيحي، وبين جرير القيسي الهوى المسلم.
ولقد جمع أبو تمام الطائي هذه النقائض التي تعد قصائد ضخمة استنفذت جهداً غير قليل من الشاعرين، وقد ذكر أبو تمام مناسبات هذه النقائض بالإضافة إلى أحداث جاءت في سياق تلك المناسبات التي نظمت فيها القصائد.
