ميشيل حبيب خياط مواليد دمشق 1949, ينتمي الى أسرة كادحة. درس الصحافة وحصل على إجازة في اللغة الفرنسية, عمل صحفياً في جريدة البعث, أصدر مجموعة قصصية بعنوان قيامة وطن, ألف ثلاثة كتب في الإعلام الصحفي. ساهم في عدة برامج تلفزيونية.
