وبناءً عليه، قامت هذه الدراسة على تمهيد وثلاثة فصول، وخاتمة. تناول خلالها المؤلف إشكالية الفضاء الروائي باعتباره يشكل بنية من بنيات الحكي، مروراً بالسيرة الذاتية لإبراهيم الكوني وتجربته في كتابة القصة والرواية والشعر والمقالات والتأليف، بعد ذلك تطرق إلى دراسة "العلاقات الثنائية للأفضية وسماتها" ، ثم دراسة "فضاء الوصف .. الآليات والإتجاهات" إلى دراسة "ترتيب البنية الزمنية في الفضاء الروائي". وانتهى بخاتمة، رصد فيها أبرز النتائج التي خرجت بها دراسته هذه.
