هي المدينة التي يولد فيها الشعراء ليهبوا في جمالها المميز، حتى ينظموا الشعر الذي تهمس به عاصمة الشرق في أدان زائريها، هي المكان الذي تعانق فيه الجبال السماء المدينة التي تتأرجح جسورخا على وديان الزمان، حتى تهب القصائد التي تترنم بها الساحات العتيقة حتى تنعم الزوايا القديمة برواية حكاية المدينة التي تهوى الصلاة والتي يسمع منها كل فجر تراتيل متواصلة ابتهالات لا نهائية هي المدينة المعلقة بحبال الهوى والفتاة المصابة بجنون التحليق إلى أعلى تزفها أغاني المألوف والألحان الأندلسية والعذارى المنتحفات بالملايات السوداء قسنطينة تلك المدينة المذهلة التي تقع فوق صخرة تسمى الصخرة العتيقة على جانبي وادي الرمال ألهمتها حركات الأزمنة الجيولوجية القدرة الهائلة على تحمل مسارات وتحولات وحيوات وتجليات، والتي تبعد عن تونس شرقاً بحوالي 2450 وعن الجزائر العاصمة غرباً بحوالي 430 كلم، مدينة طلقت البحر منذ 150 مليون سنة وترك لها الصلصال الرملي والأحجار الكلسية.
