وقد حاول هذا الكتاب أن يسلّط الأضواء على إشكالات اللغة العربية والأداء اللغوي على أرض الواقع، ومحاولات تجديد العربية وتيسيرها للإرتقاء بهذا الواقع في ميادين النحو والبلاغة وإضافة دلالات جديدة لبعض الكلمات والعبارات وفي مجال تعليم اللغة وتعلمها.
وأبان الكتاب أن النهوض باللغة يتطلب التخطيط اللغوي في ضوء سياسة لغوية واضحة تعالج قضاياها على أن يكون عمادها التنسيق والتكامل بين قطاعات المجتمع كافة على المستوييين المحلي والقومي إنطلاقاً من أن صون اللغة وحمايتها مسؤولية جماعية.
ومن هنا احتل الأمن اللغوي حيزاً في المعالجة.
