"عالم الذر"، "عالم الأشباح"، "عالم الأظلة"، مصطلحات يرددها الكثيرون من دون أن يكون المقصود واضحاً منها بشكل تام. وربما لا يكون أمراً مفهوماً أساساً لدى كثير من مطلقيها. فما هو عالم الذر وما هي تلك العوالم الأخرى، وكيف لنا أن نثبت جود هكذا عوالم، ثم كيف نفسرها إذا ثبت وجودها. هذا بحث في المباحث المهمة التي يعتبرها البعض من توابع بحث الولاية التكوينية، أو بحث الغلو، والتي ينظر إليها آخرون على أنها مقام عظيم من مقامات الرسول الأكرم صلى الله عليه وسلم والأئمة عليهم السلام. وتُذكر في هذا المجال روايات كثيرة غير قابلة للفهم كمتن فضلاً عن أنها لم تثبت سنداً.
فهل هذا يعني أن كل الروايات المتعلقة بهذا الموضوع هي روايات موضوعة مختلفة، أم هناك روايات معتبرة يمكن الاستناد إليها في إثبات القضية. والحقيقة أن هذا بحث لم يتمّ التعرض له حتى الآن بشكل علمي مفصل، وإنما يلقى في الخطابات والشعارات، وهي بطبعها لا تسأل عن المستندات ولا تنطلق من منطلقات علمية دقيقة، بل تلامس المشاعر والوجدانيات، وهذا ما يعقد الموضوع بشكل كبير.
انطلاقاً من هنا جاء هذا الكتاب والذي يهتم بالتنقيب في هذا العالم وتقصّي حقائقه والوقوف على مكنوناته والتحقق من مدى صحتها وإمكانية حدوثها، وهكذا فقد قسّم متن هذا البحث إلى تمهيد وقسمين؛ الأول: يتحدث عن عالم الذر، والثاني: يتحدث عن عالم الأشباح والأظلة وفيه قصص هي ربما صحيحة عن هذا العالم، وربما هي من خيال الناس.
