ما الذي يدفعنى وأنا اعلامية غير المتخصصة فى الشئون الدينية أن اقدم تصورا عن الرؤية العصرية لبعض قضايا المرأة المسلمة ؟! الإجابة تكمن في حقيقة أن غياب التخصص لا يرادف غياب الاهتمام فكل مسلم ذكرا كان أم أنثى مطالب بمعرفة أمور دينه والانشغال بالقضايا والمتغيرات التى يطرحها العصر وبحكم عملى فقد لاحظت أن المشاعر الدينية لا يقالها علم دينى وأن كثيرا من المؤمنين يقنعون بالقدور والتسليم بالأحكام السائدة دون حرص على اكتساب المزيد من العلم والوعى ومن هنا بدأت رحلتا مع قراءات متنوعة لنخب من علماء الإسلام المجددين المستنيرين ومن حصيلة هذه القراءات توصلت الى أن الاسلام يطرح رؤية عصرية شامخة لضايا المراة وهمومها وأن الكثيرين قد أساءوا فهم أحكامه وغلبوا العادات والأعراف الاجتماعية الموروثة على الصحيح فى الدين .
