سبحانك ربي أنا الجرم الصغير في دائرة وجودك، إلهي اجعلني ممن اخترته لمناجاتك وقطعت عنه كلّ شيء يقطعه عنك، "إلهي، ظلّل على ذنوبي غمام رحمتك، وأرسل على عيوبي سحاب رأفتك".
إلهي، أنا عبدك الضعيف كضعف قطرات المطر التي تسقط بقوة الحجر فتصدع الصخر الصّلد لكنّها تتلاشى مع سقوط أول أشعة الشمس عليها فتتبخر طائرة بعيدة عن الأرض، مصابة بالهزال، ضعيفة، تتلقّفها أيدي الرياح من فضاءٍ إلى فضاء آخر.
رحماك ربي، فلا طاقة لي على البعد والحرمان من خلوة المريدين "فقد انقطعت إليك همّتي، وانصرفت نحوك رغبتي، فأنت لا غيرك مرادي، ولَك لا لغيرك سهري وسهادي، ولقاؤك قرّة عيني، ولا تقطعني عنك ولا تبعدني منك، يا نعيمي وجنّتي، ويا دنياي وآخرتي، يا أرحم الراحمين).
