يتضمن الكتاب الحالى سبعة فصول تمثل جميعا دراسات منشورة أردنا ان نقدم أفكارا محددة من خلالها وأن نسهم أولا فى فك الأشتباك بين المفاهيم المتداخلة فى هذا الميدان الهام وأن نسهم بعد ذلك فى توفير إطار نظرى متكامل لصعوبات التعلم فى مرحلة الروضة وهو الموضوع الذى تكاد تخلو المكتبة العربية من أى كتابات فيه إلا فيما ندر ولذلك فقد كانت ولا تزال هناك حاجة ملحة لتقديم هذا الموضوع الى الباحثين والدارسين العرب والأخصائيين فى هذا المجال فضلا عن أوليا أمور مثل هؤلاء الأطفال وهو الأمر الذى نرجو أن يكون هو البداية الحقيقية للتناول العلمى الثاقب لهذه الشريحة العمرية فى هذا الموضوع رغم حداثنه وقد جاءت هذه الفصول على النحو التالى : 1- قصور المهارات قبل الأكاديمية كمؤشرات لصعوبات التعلم بين أطفال الروضة 2- النمو العقلى المعرفى وصعوبات التعلم بين أطفال الروضة 3- بعض المتغيرات او العلميات المعرفية وصعوبات التعلم بين أطفال الروضة 4- المهارات المتغيرات أو العلميات المعرفية وصعوبات التعلم بين أطفال الرضة 5- الأهبة الاستعداد للمدرسة وصعوبات التعلم بين أطفال الروضة 6- قصور المهارات قبل الأكاديمية بالرضة وصعوبات التعلم الأكاديمية اللاحقة 7- برنامج للتدخل المبكر للحد من الآثار السلبية المترتبة على قصور المهارات قبل الأكاديمية لأطفال الرضة .
