ثم بعد ذلك تشترك مع الأسرة في رعاية الطفل المؤسسات المدنية في المجتمع مثل دور الحضانة ورياض الأطفال والتي تتعهد الطفل بالتربية والتعليم وتأهيله للالتحاق بالمدرسة.
ومع كل ذلك تكون الرعاية الصحية للطفل ووقايته من الأمراض هي المكملة لهذه المنظومة.
