إن بيوع المرابحة من أكثر انواع البيوع شيوعا وتطبيقا في الحياة العملية المعاصرة سواء على مستوى المؤسسات المالية، أو على مستوى الأفراد ، حيث بلغت نسبة التعامل بها في بعض المصارف أكثر من 90% من حجم التعامل أو توظيف الأموال. وبيوع المرابحة الشائعة الآن ، ليست هى المذكورة في كتب الفقه ، والمبحوثة في مؤلفا المذاهب الفقهية المعتبرة بل ، أصبحت صورة مركبة من أكثر من عقد ، وذلك لتناسب التنظيم الحديث للمعاملات المالية، وقد أطلق عليها بيع المرابحة للآمر بالشراء. وهذه الصورة كثر فيها الجدل الفقهي والاقتصادي من لحظة ميلادها وإلى الآن، وقد زاد المر سوءا ما انتهى إليه التطبيق في كثير من المؤسسات المالية، إذ جعلوها صورة من صور التمويل الربوي، وأطلقوا عليها اسم المرابحة شكلا وصورة مما أزعج الكثيرين حتى ممن كانوا يدافعون عنها في بادئ الأمر، وأعطى الفرصة للمتربصين بالمؤسسات المالية الإسلامية للتشهير بها ومحاولة هدمها. كان لزاما أن نقف على التطبيق المصرفي للمرابحة لنرى ما أسفر عنه هذا التطبيق من إيجابيات وسلبيات ، لا لنشهر بالبنوك الإسلامية بإثارة الشبهات حولها لينصرف عنها المسلمون، ولكن لنصحح تلك المسيرة، ونقوم هذا التوجه الحميد ، ولندفع عن المعاملات المالية الإسلامية شبهة عدم التميز والاستقلالية عن المعاملات الربوية. يقوم هذا الكتاب بدراسة تطبيقات المصارف الإسلامية للمرابحة، وذلك من خلال نماذج العقود التى تقوم بإبرامها ، او مما يتناقله رجال المال والأعمال ، والحكم عليها في ضوء الفقه الإسلامي ، لبيان الصحيح والفاسد ، والمشروع والمذموم.
