عبور في تلاشيه لا يفنى، بل يبقى، لا يندثر، بل ينتشر، إنه يعبرُ غير آبه ويمضي، كما أعبر غير مكترث جسرًا إلى ضفة أخرى، ثم لا يبقى إلا أثره الذي لا أشعر به وفي نفس الوقت لا أطيقه، إن البقاء هو العبور، ما ينسل ينطبع بعد ذلك في جيب العمر، وكل الذي مضى، مازال حاضرًا هناك، كلّ الوقت وإلى الأبد. عبور لا يعني الزوال؛ إنه ديمومة الخلود، أن يذهب كلّ شيء، ثمّة شيء لن يذهب، في رحيله أثرٌ، وفي أثره إقبال، ما لا أستطيع وصفه، سيظل عالقًا في دهاليز الذاكرة، وحين تترمّد الذاكرة، ستفوح من خلاله شذا الذكريات.
