يقدم هذا الكتاب نبذة بسيرة بأهم المحاور الفكرية والإعتقادية، التي دارت في فلكها فلسفة الشيخ "أحمد بن زين الدين الإحسائي" موضحاً المطالب التي ترتكز عليها محور الكلام بالأدلة العقلية والنقلية، من القرآن الكريم والسنة المباركة، مثبتاً ما كان يردده الشيخ من أنه تابع للمعصومين من عليهم السلام.
يمتاز هذا الكتاب بخصوصية قد تفرَد بها، حيث أنه أثبت بأن جميع الحكماء، الإمامية قد أخذوا من فلسفة اليونان، ومن الصوفية كمحي الدين ابن عربي حيث أورد المصنف لنصوص من كلام الحكماء والفلاسفة من كتبهم الأصلية.
وعن الشيخ الإحسائي يقول المؤلف حسن فيوضات: يدعو الشيخ الإحسائي –في أول نصيحة له- إلى التجرد عن القواعد المأنوسة، حتى نتمكن باعتبارنا طلاب حقيقة أن تعي الدليل الذي يرشد إليه، ولكي نواصل السير إلى الهدف الذي يرمي إليه، فأحرى بنا إذن أن ندع التعلل بالقال والقيل، ونتابع العقل والنقل من دون إعتراض أو توهيم".
كذلك يتضمن الكتاب جانباً آخر من الآراء الإعتقادية والفلسفية للشيخ الإحسائي جاءت تحت عنوان "كشف الحجب عن مقامات وأسرار المعصومين عليهم أفضل الصلاة والسلام" وقد أوضحها المصنف في ثمان مطالب نذكر منها مقام الإمامة، شرح قول الإمام الحجة (ومقاماتك التي لا تعطيل لها في كل مكانٍ..."، قول الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم (إن تارك فيكم الثقلين) الثقل الأكبر، والثقل الأصغر.. إلى آخر الحديث"، ومنها "شرح آية فاكتبنا مع الشاهدين".. إلى آخر ذلك من أسرار وفيوضات أمعن في شرحها وتفسير معانيها هذاالكتاب...
