امرأة Una Donna تعتبرُ أوَّلَ رواية نسويَّة في إيطاليا، نُشرتْ في عام 1906 وكان لها أثرٌ كبير في تهشيم ثوابت كثيرة في الوعي الإيطالي حظيت الرّواية بإهتمام عالمي وتُرجمتْ للغات عِدّة.
كتبتُها سيبيلا أليرامو واسمُها الحقيقي رينا فاتشيو (1876- 1960)، والتي تقول إنْها عاشت ثلاث حيوات، الأولى، كأمُ وزوجة، وسطّرت تفاصيلها في هذا الكتاب الثّانية، تطوَّعتُ فيها لخدمة المعوزين في أحدِ ملاجئ روما، الثّالثة، وهي الثلاثون عاماً الأخيرة من حياتها والتي أمضتْها في الكتابة والعمل.
عاشت سيبيلا خمسينَ عاماً بعد رواية امرأة، وواجهت العقَبات، وعايشتْ صراعاتٍ وحروباً، لكنّها تخطّتها جميعاً، حاولت الإنتحار في لحظات ضعف، لكنّها استنتجت بعد موت زميلها تشيزاري بافيزي أنّها تهاب الموت: "أجل. أنا خائفة، والحريّة الوحيدة التي لا يمتلكها الشيوعي هي: الإنتحار"، فآثرت العمل، وإلقاء المحاضرات، والسّفر، والكتابة حتّى آخر أيّام حياتها.
ومع ذلك، لم يجلبُ لها أيُّ كتابٍ من كتبها الشُهرة التي حظيت بها بعد هذه الرّواية.
