أن نشوء فنّ إعراب القرآن له أهمية كبرى من حيث أن القرآن الكريم يبقى في نظمه ونسجه، وأحكام تركيب المصدر الذي يرجع اليه من كل علوم اللغة العربية وفنونها، من هنا كان الدافع الذي حث المؤلف لإصدار هذه السلسلة "إعراب القرآن الكريم"، هذا وإن القدماء قد ألفو في إعراب القرآن الكريم الكثير من الكتب ولكن لم يكن القصد من ذلك التأليف " الإعراب التطبيقي" وإنما كان إعرابهم إعراباً مختصراً القصد منه تقديم "درس لغويّ" للعربية من خلال الإعراب، لأن اللسان العربي لساناً مُعْرب، لم يكن بد، لعلم النحو، من دراسة الإعراب، بأنواعه وقواعده.
من هنا فإن درس النحو لا يجب أن يقتصر على الدروس "النظري" لكن من المهم جداً أن يتركز في معظمه على درس "التطبيق" لأن "دروس النحو" وحدها لا تؤدي إلى اتقان اللغة، لكن التمرس باللغة تمرساً صحيحاً هو السبيل الوحيدة إلى اتقانها، والنحو يعين على فهمها وعلى التعمق في إظهار طاقاتها التي قد تظل خافية على غير المتصل بالدرس النحوي. وخلاصة القول: أنه يجب على كل دارسٍ للتطبيق النحوي أن يبدأ أولاً بقراءة السورة قراءة، وأن يتعود قراءتها في المصحف، ثم فهم معاني السورة في كتب التفسير، فإن ذلك كله يعين على تحليل النص، ومن ثم التوصل لمعرفة الإعراب في يسر وسهولة.
وقد عمل المؤلف في هذا الجزء من سلسلة إعراب القرآن الكريم على إعراب سورة البقرة مبتدئاً بتفسير معاني الكلمات التي تحتاج إلى تفسير وبيان قبل الإعراب وذلك تسهيلاً لفهم النص، علّ ذلك يساعد على فهم الآية من خلال توضيح معاني تلك الكلمات.
