فكرة هذا الكتاب عندما بلغت ابنتي سن الزواج وبكر طلب يدها للزواج... وكنت امتنع عن القبول بحجة أنها صغيرة ولم تكمل تعليمها... والحقيقة هيا تعلقي بها وخوفاً عليها من سوء المعاملة والعادات والتقاليد وعدم فهم الحياة الزوجية لدى الشباب؛ وعدم تطبيق الشريعة الإسلامية وفقه المعاملات المتدني لدى الشباب وبعد أكملت ابنتي تعليمها الجامعي عام 2005م لم تعد لدي حجة للممانعة.
وفكرتُ في عمل كتيب أهديه لأبنائي كدستور لحياتهم الزوجية وميثاق عمل قبل الزواج ويوزع في حفل الزواج للإهتداء والإقتداء به في حياتهم بما أمر رب العالمين ويهدي سيد المرسلين سيدنا "محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم" مستنداً إلى (كتاب الله وهدى نبيه، وما كانت عليه الحالة قبل الإسلام وبعد الإسلام، وحقوق الإنسان في الشريعة، والطلاق، والإرث، والقصاص، ومكارم الأخلاق، وفيها حقوق الزوج على زوجته، والزوجة حقوقها على زوجها).
وفهرست الكتاب يوضح (59) موضوع يحتاجها كل زوجين أوصي بتدريسها قبل الزواج للزوجين ومرجع يعتمد عليه لحل الخلاف.
