سلمى ياسمين امرأة من الزمن القديم أخطأت رياح الأقدار، إذ حطّتها في زمن السياسة الرديئة، فوجدت نفسها وسط مُؤامرة تُصارع بلا سلاح.. بلا أجنحة تُحاول التحليق إلى عالم، حيث لا الإنسان يعيش عبد غريزته الشهوانية الباحثة عن المال والسّطوة، ولا الإنسان يعيش عبدا للآخرين مستصغرا مستضعفا بلا قيمة بلا كرامة.. وإنما حيث يكون الفرد فردا بذاته لا رقما ولا عملة تتداولها الأيادي، حرٌّ طليقٌ في أرض خضراء حدودها، من كل جانب، السماء..
سلمى ياسمين عانت في بلدتها الجبلية، كما عانت كل امرأة في وضعها، إذ حكمت عليها محكمة الحياة بالعيش كُرها من دون موجبات الحياة، فتطلّعت لتجاوز ذلك الحاجز الوهمي الذي يصبغونه أحيانا بالأخلاق وأحيانا بالعار، فاختارت ذلك العار، المشروع في عُرفها، المذموم في عُرف جبابرة البلدة النائية، فهربت رُفقة من تقاسمها وتقاسمته المصير والأقدار، إلى كازابلانكا وهناك ستتكسر الأحلام والمثاليات مثلما تكسرت صورة تلك المدينة المتحررة المتحضرة، المزيفة الكاذبة، وفي دوامة الصراع السياسي بين الدولة وفصائل اليسار والإسلاميين، تعيش نهايتها وحيدة، أملها الوحيد طفلتُها ليليا..
سلمى ياسمين، هي كل امرأة في هذا الوطن العربي، جنت عليها محكمة الحياة، محكمة الجبارة يحكمون بالسلطة والمال
