إن المنحى الذي اتخذه المؤلف بطريقة عرضه للأحداث التي تعاقبت في أروقة منظمة العمل الدولية، بدءاً من مؤتمراتها السنوية مروراً بالصراعات التي سادت بين العناصر الغربية الموالية للصهيونية في أروقة المنظمة، وإنتهاءً بالمناقشات الحادة التي سادت أجواء إجتماعات مجلس الإدارة التي رافقت مرحلة ما بعد صدور القرار ووضعه موضع التنفيذ.
يعطي فرصة حقيقية للقارئ وللباحث أن يقرأ في ثنايا الكتاب تاريخ ما لم يكتب بعد ولعل قبول منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية عضواً مراقباً في مؤتمرات منظمة العمل الدولية عام 1975م، كان مثالاً واضحاً على صحة الخطوات التي اتبعتها الوقود العربية آنذاك، وتجربة رائدة لعملها القومي الجماعي في تحديد معسكر الأصدقاء ومعسكر الأعداء، حيث برز يومها بوضوح الدور القبيح الذي لعبته الولايات المتحدة لصالح العدو الصهيوني، مؤكدة إصرارها على الوقوف بشكل مباشر إلى جانب العدو الصهيوني في وجه إرادة الأمة العربية، بإعتبارها عدواً مباشراً لدرجة أنه تزامن خروج وفدي الولايات المتحدة والكيان الصهيوني من قاعة المؤتمر في نفس اللحظة الزمنية التي دخل فيها وفد فلسطين وسط هتاف الأصدقاء وصيحاتهم الترحيبية.
لا شك أن المؤلف في رصده لكل هذه التفاصيل الدقيقة، إنما أراد أن يسجل تطور وضع القضية الفلسطينية في أروقة منظمة العمل الدولية منذ أن بدأت المحاولات العربية الأولى للنشاط في هذا الميدان، ليسهل على القارئ إستخلاص العبر والدروس التي أفرزتها مراحل الكفاح في هذا الميدان.
وسيسجل للمؤلف أنه المبادر الأول الذي كرس جزءاً من وقته رغم مهامه الأخرى، ليقدم للقارئ العربي وللعامل العربي على وجه الخصوص صورة مشرفة تحققت بفعل تضافر الجهود العربية.
