Book Description
من خلال معرفة الباحث باللغة النوبية لاحظ أن الكثير من أسماء مكونات حضارة السودان القديمة جاءت باللغة النوبية مما يعني أن هذه اللغة تحفظ في جوفها أسرارا من حضارة البلاد وإرثها الثقافي. لكن بمرور الزمن وتداخل الألسن تعرضت الاسماء النوبية إلى تغيرات في بنياتها الأساسية من خلال السوابق واللواحق والدواخل الصوتية المختلفة ومن ثم أصبحت تلك الاسماء غير قادرة على الايحاء بمدلولاتها الحقيقية للنوبيين ولغير النوبيين.
لأجل ذلك يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى توضيح مدلولات بعض الكلمات النوبية المهمة التي سُميت بها مكونات الحضارة السودانية بشقيها المادي واللامادي إضافة إلى توضيح بعض المفاهيم المصاحبة لتلك الحضارة ومن ثم يسهم الكتاب في ردم الفجوة التي حدثت بسبب ما تمت الإشارة إليه.
يتكون الكتاب من خمسة أبواب بكل منها مباحث ومطالب تختلف في أوزانها لاختلاف طبيعة مواضيعها ويسلط الضوء على أزمنة مختلفة لملوك السودان: (الأسود)، (الثعابين) (التماسيح) و(الذئاب). اسماء تبدو غريبة ولكنها حقائق من واقع اللغة النوبية. ويشتمل على مواضيع مثل الموسوية في أرض الأقواس ثم هجرة الصحابة إلى دنقلا العجوز ثم اسهام النوبيين في تأسيس السلطنة الزرقاء وغير ذلك. تم تدعيم الكتاب بالخرائط المكانية والصور القديمة كمعينات للادراك الكلي لمضامين الحضارة المستهدفة.
وعليه، يجمع هذا الكتاب بين منهجية البحث العلمي من خلال استخدام المنهج المتداخل (The Interdisciplinary Approach) في بعض أجزائه وبين حرية الاستقراء وتأليف الكتب من جانب آخر ويرجو المؤلف أن يكون كتابا مفيدا لقرائه.
