موضوع هذا البحث هو : (الاستقراء الناقص وأثره فى النحو العربي)، والاستقراء منهج علمى محكم اتبعه النحاة القدماء لوضع أصول النحو العربي وقواعده، يعتمد على تتبع كلام العرب المحتج به شعراً ونثراً، وتسجيل الفروق بين الظاوهر اللغوية المختلفة، ومن ثم وضع القوانين والقواعد التى يسير علهيا كلام العرب، ويخضع لها نظام العربية فى مختلف تراكيبه.
وقد قام أوائل النحاة بجهود مشكورة فى استقراء اللغة بهدف الحفاظ عليها من اللحن والخطأ، والوصول إلى وصف قواعدها، وضبط قوانينها، غير أن البواعث والأسباب التى صاحبت نشأة علم النحو لم تسعف النحاة فى الاطلاع على كل ماجء عن العرب ، رغم ما بذلوه من جهود مضنية فى التنقل والاتحال، وحول هذا تنقسم هذه الدراسة غلى مقدمة وتمهيد وقيسمين كبيرين.. الأول لدراسة بعض مسائل الاستقراء الناقص فى النحو العربي، الثانى خاص بالدراسة المنهجية.. يليها الخاتمة والفهارس الفنية.
