حياة المواطن العراقي خلال الحرب الأميركية على العراق (2003) هي الموضوعة الأكثر حضوراً في قصص الكاتبة "إرادة الجبوري" والتي وسمتها بـ (فياغرا) ، تعالج الكاتبة الأوضاع التي آلت إليها حياة الناس من خلال استدراج الصورة الصحفية فالسارد الذي يتولى مهمة نقل الصورة، جعل منها تقنية تشارك في عرض القصة وفق مقصد غائي يتطلع إلى نشره، ففي القصة المعنونة "ورطة" نقع على قصة أم تبحث عن إبنتها المختطفة، وهي في طريقها إلى الجامعة، ليتبين فيما بعد أنها كانت ضحية انفجار سيارة، والكاتبة تنقل الأحداث عن طريق أخبار الصحف، فتقدم صورة واقعية عما حدث "أطلق الجيش الأميركي سراح المزيد من السجناء العراقيين من سجن أبو غريب، وقد قدر عددهم بـ (638) سجين". وفي مكونات السياق العام للمحكي ينقل السارد صورة عن تدمير بغداد وحرقها وهدمها لأول مرة في تاريخها من خلال محاصرة جيوش المأمون بغداد عام 196 هجرية، وهكذا يتأرجح السرد بين الماضي والحاضر وينتقل إلى القضاء الورقي، وربما أرادت منها الكاتبة قيمة تحفيزية لإثارة أفعال التخييل لدى المتلقي، ونسج الترابطات بين الأجزاء النصية، لتشكل في وعيه وضعاً واضح المعالم، ليس منفصلاً عن الماضي، بل يتمتع بالإستمرارية، فقيمتها تكمن في محمولها، ومن هنا يتجلى دورها الإشتغالي المتمثل في الإسهام في عرض كل حادثة من خلال مشاركتها السارد في فعل السرد، وفي احتواء جزء هام من المحكي عنه.
تضم المجموعة ستة قصص قصيرة جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: 1- خبر بأخطاء، 2- خرابيط، 3- ضربة نيع، 4- كبسلة، 5- ورطة، 6- شهادة كهرمانة.
