"سيدة الغناء كانت تغنينا عن القضية. وعن طريق واحد يمر من فوهة بندقية، إلى رحاب القدس والأروقة الزكية، إلى نزيف البتر والمناجم التربة، يا أيها الباحث عن أرض وعن هوية، خمسون عاماً قد خلت وبالضحايا أثقلت، صحية تهوي على ضحية، يا أيها الباحث عن أرض وعن هوية، هيا بنا نبحث عن شبابنا وعن طريق واحد يمر من فوهة بندقية. ما أعظم الكلمة! من كل حرف أنجبت شخصية، ما أعذب النغمة! كأنها غيث هما من سحب الرحمة، يا أيها الباحث عن أرض وهوية، ضاقت بنا واشتدت الأزمة، وغودرت كرامة الأمة، صار طريق واحد يمرّ من مؤتمر القمة. دعوا الطريق مشرعاً يمر من فوهة بندقية (إلى القباب الخضر والحجارة النبيّه)، كفوا يديكم عن الشعوب، كي تسترجع الهمة، حتى متى؟ ترسف في أغلالكم ضمائر الأمّة الشيخ ما أسدى لنا نفعاً، فهل ينفعنا شرحه".
من منفاه كتب جابر الكاظمي قصائده هذه معبراً عما في نفس من شوق وحنين إلى الحركة، ليس حريته وإنما حرية وطنه العربي من براثن العدوان الصهيوني الجاثم. ومن منفاه أصور صرخته لكل الشعوب العربية مطالباً بكف الدم وتحرير الأرض من المغتصبين، الذين يقتلون كل يوم المئات ولا تنهمر لهم دمعه على ما ترتكبه أيديهم.
