لوحات إن حكت كتابُ أدبٍ وفنّ، فيه تعاني اللّوحةُ النّصَّ، والنّصُّ اللّوحةَ، اللّوحةُ تصوّرُ القراءةَ، والنّصُّ يقرأُ اللّوحةَ. "تجاذب". والكاتب جرّاحٌ، يحاول أن يستولد النّصَّ من رحم اللّوحة، أنم يشرّحها، يحلّلها (أي يفكّكها ويُعيد تركيبها) يستنطقها، يستقرئها، وإن شئت فقل كما قال البُحْتُرِيّ في وصف صورة أنطاكيّة "يتقرّاها".
يحرّرها من إطارها، من عقالها، إذ يقرأ (يرى) الكاتب فيها ما لا يقرأه (يراه) القارئ (الرّائي) ولا حتّى الفنّان صاحبُها، وإذا الكاتبُ قارئٌ بدوره وراءٍ معاً، كأنّه رَجْعُ الصَوت بالصّدى أو إنعكاس الصّورة في المرايا (Mise en abyme)، وإن شئت أيضاً قسمَّه تلصُّصاً.
فانظر اللّوحة، ثم ارفع عينيك واقرأ النّصّ، ثمّ سرّح نظرك بين النّصّ واللّوحة، وبين اللّوحة والنّصّ، بلا كللس أو ملل؛ ولك، بعد كلّ هذا، أن تختار كيف تقرأ الكتاب، من غير أن يغيب عن بالك أنّ "من يعرف أن يرى قليل"، وأنّ "الصورة أعظم أداة للتّعليم".
