في ديسمبر من نهاية عام 2009 لم يكن هناك حديث للناس في مصر. سوى عن ظهور العذراء مريم. في بعض الأماكن بالقاهرة. مما دفع بمئات الآلاف إلى التجمع حول كنائس العذراء في الزيتون وعين شمس. وعزبة النخل ومهمشة والمرج و6 أكتوبر والعمرانية وإمبابة والقليوبية. وقد وصل عدد هؤلاء إلى حوالي 100 ألف شخص! ونشرت صحيفة "المصري اليوم" أن ما يقرب من 50 ألف إنسان تجمعوا في شارع شبرا، في المنطقة المحيطة بكنيسة العذراء مريم مسرة، وظل هؤلاء يرددون تراتيل مسيحية تقول: " السلام لك يا مريم"! وحول كنيسة الزيتون زادت التجمعات. ووصلت إلى ما يقرب من مائة ألف شخص!
وقبل أيام تحدثت مع صديقي المسيحي المهندس نجدي سعد حول ظهور العذراء فوق كنيسة مسرة شبرا. وفوجئت أنه يحمل على الموبايل الخاص به. فيلماً صغيراً لايستغرق ثواني. ويظهر في الفيلم نور في السماء فوق كنيسة مسرة. ويتشكل هذا النور بسرعة. وتظهر وسطه صورة غير واضحة. لسيدة في قلب هذا النور. وقال لي صاحبي المسيحي: هي صورة العذراء.. أم النور. ولم أناقش صديقي المسيحي في مسألة ظهور وحقيقة ظهور العذراء. لأني أعلم أكيداً. أن هناك آلاف من المسلمين. ذهبوا مع ال50 ألفاً الذين احتشدوا لرؤية ظهور العذراء في مسرة. لكن السؤال الذي لم يغادر عقلي طوال الأسبوع الماضي كان: لماذا ذهب أكثر من مائة ألف شخص إلى كنيسة مسرة بشبرا؟، لماذا أرادت كل هذه الآلاف من البشر، أن تشاهد صورة العذراء هناك؟، وهل شاهدوها فعلاً؟
