قالت له العرافة: "لحظة أن ترى ضياء عينيها في عينيك.. تصبح هي قدرك.. إما أن تمنحك سعادة غامرة، أو أن تترك لك كل أحزان العالم...". هو الذي مل من الذهاب إلى الأطباء.. يحاولون مداواة العيون الكليلة.. كان راضياً وقانعاً بقسمته.. يحاول أن يخلق العالم كما يتصور.. يصنع لنفسه الألوان والأصوات.. يصفون له وهو لا يكف عن الأسئلة، لم يعقه فقدان البصر عن المضي في حياته.. بدأ بمن يمسك يده ويجره.. يلقي أوامره بعصبية شديدة لمن يجر يده.. أحياناً يسقط لأن من يقوده لم يخبره بما أمامه.. أو ربما لا يقدر مسافات درجات سلم.. لكنه يقوم مبتسماً.. يضع يده فوق عينيه.. يتأكد من وجود النظارة السوداء.. اختاروها له ولأنه لا يعرف الفرق بين الأسود والأبيض قبل اختيارهم.. يجئ من يقرأ له.. يستوقفه كثيراً ليصف له شكلاً أو لوناً؛ جاء ذكره فيما يقرأ.. حين يبدأ قارؤه في الوصف يتركه وهو يحاول أن يصنع الشكل أو اللون في ذهنه.
