ويتناول هذا المؤلف العلمي ي فصله الأول موضوع الدراسة مستعرضاً مشكلة البحث وأهميتها وأسباب اختيارها وأهدافها وحدودها المكانية والبشرية والزمنية، وفي الفصل الثاني يناقش المؤلف متغيرات الدراسة محددة في: مفاهيمها، الاضطرابات السلوكية، الأساس النظري للعلاج الأسري، العلاج الأسري كمدخل علاجي معاصر في خدمة الفرد في الخدمة الإجتماعية.
أما الفصل الثالث فيستعرض الدراسات السابقة حول تنمية الإبتكار والاضرابات السلوكية وممارسة العلاج الأسري، في حين يأتي الفصل الرابع ليناقش الإجراءات المنهجية للدراسة موضحاً لنوعيتها ومنهجها وأدواتها ووصف لبرنامج التدخل المهني، وكذلك محددات التدخل المهني من حيث عدد الجلسات والأيام والساعات من الضروري أن نشير إلى أن هذه الدارسة من الدراسات التجريبية التي تستخدم المنهج التجريبي.
وفي الفصل الخامس تستعرض الدراسة ما توصلت إليه من نتائج في ضوء مناقشة فروضها المتنوعة، ويعتبر الفصل نموذجاً مفيداً للباحثين لتحديد كيفية عرض النتائج التفصيلية للدراسة وتوضيح كيفية التفسير. والتحليل في غطار نظرية العلاج الأسري. أما الفصل السادس والأخير فإنه يستعرض النتائج العامة للدراسة، موضحاً بالتحليل والوصف الدقيق النتائج المستخلصة من تحليل محتوى جلسات التدخل المهني بالعلاج الأسري.
