"أهل الرمل" قصيدة تضمها صفحات الكتاب الخمسين كتبها الاعلامي الشاعر "جوزف أبي ضاهر" باللغة المحكية اللبنانية، فحمل معها القصيدة إلى جذورها الأصلية وسقاها نغماً شجياً يحكي حالنا في هذا الشرق.
هي قصيدة يوجهها شاعرنا إلى الشرق وناسه اسماهم "أهل الرمل" "أهل الرمل بـ الشرق"/ بيحبو الزقيف/ بيغفو/ ع الزقيف/ بيوعو/ ع الزقيف/ بيزقفو/ (...) وما عندن رغيف".
"أهل الرمل" قصيدة تنتمي إلى تجربة شاعرنا في هذه الحياة، هي مرايا تعكس الحال العربي عموماً واللبناني خصوصاً، تحمل ما بين سطورها الهم العربي، وتلامس أوجاع الناس وهمومهم المعيشية بقالب شعري صيغ بلغة محكية تلبي نداء ضمير شاعرنا الحيَ، والذي عرفناه دوماً بقصائد تنبيذ الظلم وتقف إلى جانب قضية الإنسان العربي وأحقيته في رسم مصيره بنفسه دون الالتحاق بمن رسم له خارطة يسير عليها ".. رسمو خارطة هـ الشرق/ لا حبر/ لا فكر/ ردو البحر/ كل المراكب شعر/ الشعر بدو حرق/ الشعر ثورة/ ونار/ بتوعي الغضب(...)".
هكذا هو "جوزف أبي ضاهر" هو ليس شاعر لبناني وحسب، بل الأحرى أن يقال عنه الشاعر الإنسانية بامتياز...
