استخرت الله تعالى أن يكون موقف الدعوة الإسلامية من التضامن الدولي هو الموضوع الذى اتقدم به إلى قسم الدعوة بكلية أصول والدعوى بالمنصورة لنيل درجة التخصص "الماجستير" فى الدعوة والثقافة الإسلامية ذلك لأن الظروف الحالية التى يمر بها الإنسان المسلم فى ظل الأوضاع العالمية تفرض على الداعية المسلم أن يبصر إخوانه المسلمين بهذا الموضوع انطلاقاً من الأمر بالمعروف والنهى عن المنكر والتواصى بالحق والتواصى بالصبر.
وطبيعة الموضوع اقتضت أن نبدأه بتمهيد عن تاريخ التضامن الدولى فى المختلفة، حتى يستطيع الدارس أن يحيط علما بأبعاد الموضوع، ثم جاء الباب الأول مفهوم التضامن الدولي من ناحية ترعيفه، وأشكاله وأهدافه، والمصادر التشريعية التى التضامن فى ظل منظمة الأمم المتحدة وتحدياته التى فرضها على الدول الفقيرة.
