يتناول هذا الكتاب حقيقة الدور السعودي في قضية فلسطين، وقد تم رصد هذا الدور بأمانة وموضوعية، ومناقشته علمياً وموضوعياً بأسلوب هادئ من واقع الوثائق والحقائق التي لا يرقى إليها الشك.
اشتمل هذا الكتاب على تمهيد وثلاثة فصول وخاتمة، وفي النهاية كانت المصادر والمراجع التي منها الوثائق الرئيسية في قضية فلسطين.
والفصل الاول تناول الجهود التي بذلتها بالمملكة العربية السعودية لإحتواء الخلافات العربية وتكوين جبهة عربية لمقاومة الأطماع الصهيونية في فلسطين خاصة، والدول العربية عامة، أما الفصل الثاني فيحوي الجهود السعودية لدعم عروبة فلسطين على الصعيد الدولي، وجاء الفصل الثالث ليعبِّر عن دور المملكة العربية السعودية في حرب 1367هــ/ 1948م، ثم تأتي الخاتمة لتبلور كل جهود المملكة من أجل قضية فلسطين ومدى إلتزامها بالسياسة الهادئة.
كما أن هناك في نهاية الكتاب الملاحق التي تضمنت أسماء الشهداء السعوديين من المتطوعين والجنود، والعديد من المراجع الأجنبية والعربية.
