فى المعهد العسكرى التلعيمى فى موسكو اتصلت جالينا سكرتيرة القائد التى تجيد الإنجليزية بإبراهيم وأخبرته بأن قائد المعهد يطلب مقابلته وكان إبراهيم أقدم رتبه عسكرية بين الدارسين المصريين، وأخبر الجنرال الروسى إبراهيم باللغة الإنجليزية بخبر وفاة الرئيس جمال عبد الناص وأنه متأثر جدا وأخبره بأنه أمر أن يكون اليوم التالى أجازة للدراسين المصريين حيث أنه يعرف تأثرهم الشديد.
صعد إبراهيم وتقابل مع أقرانه وقال لهم بعدما أخبرهم بالخبر والدموع فى عينيه: بكره الجنرال طلب من جالينا تعزمنا على الغدا.. طبعا كلنا عارفين إن جالينا بتجادل دائما إنها تتكلم معانا ومفهوم إن إحنا دولة اشتراكية لكن عمرنا ما هنكون شيوعيين وأنا بشك إن جالينا بتعرف عربي لذلك مش عاوز كلام إلا فى أضيق الحدود وبعد الضهر نروح على السفارة المصرية ونحاول نشوف الأهرام والأخبار والوضع عامل إيه.
