Book Description
خلق الله الإنسانَ، وعلَّمه البيان، وميَّزه بالعقل واللِّسان، وشرَّفه بمعرفته، وهداه إلى عبادته، وخلق له السمعَ والبصر والقُوَى، وفضَّله على كثيرٍ من خَلقه تفضيلًا بما منحه من الحِلمِ والحزم، والفكر والفهم، والذِّكر والعلم، وأمره بالتمسك بمكارم الأخلاق، يقول الرسول الكريم: «إنَّما بُعِثتُ لأُتمِّمَ مكارمَ الأخلاقِ»، ويقول: «أَكْمَلُ المؤمنين إيمانًا أحسَنُهُم خُلُقًا».
وللدِّين الإسلامي فَضْلٌ على سائر الأديان، بما صان به الإنسانَ عن التردِّي في الغيِّ والضلال، وقد أنزله اللهُ جلَّ في علاه ليَعرِفَ الناسُ خالقَهم قبل كلِّ شيءٍ، ثم يُصلحوا من أحوالهم، ولا تصلح أحوالهم إلا بحُسن الخُلُق، وليس الالتزامُ بالقوانين أو حتى بالأحكام الشرعية إلَّا أدنى مراتب الأخلاق؛ إذ الأخلاق تسمو فوق كلِّ قانونٍ.
ولكن هل للأخلاق في ذاتها قوانين عامة أو قواعد مجملة، أو حتى قوالب مُحدَّدة يمكن للمرء أن يتكيَّفَ معها أو يسير على خطاها، أم أن للأخلاق آدابًا مجملةً ومفصلةً تبيِّن للمرء ما ينبغي أن يكون عليه؟ وللإجابة على هذه التساؤلات ألَّف ابنُ حزم الأندلسي كتابَه المسمَّى بـ«الأخلاق والسير» أو «مداواة النفوس»؛ فيقول في مقدمة كتابه:« فإني جمعتُ في كتابي هذا معانيَ كثيرةً أَفادَنِيها واهبُ التمييز تعالى بمرور الأيام وتعاقُبِ الأحوال... ودوَّنتُ كلَّ ما سَبَرْتُ من ذلك بهذا الكتاب؛ لينفعَ الله تعالى به مَن يشاء من عباده... وأنا راجٍ من الله تعالى في ذلك أعظمَ الأجر؛ لنيَّتي في نفع عباده وإصلاحِ ما فَسَد من أخلاقهم، ومداواةِ عِلل نفوسهم».
فقد سعى في كتابه ليكشفَ عيوبَ النفسِ البشرية، ومِن ثَمَّ يسعى في علاجها ومداواتها مِن خلال تجاربه الشخصية، ومن خلال تجارب الآخرين وحكمتهم ومعارفهم.
