باحث مصري في التصوف والإسلاميات، يدير موقع طواسين، وصدر له العديد من المؤلفات، منها معنى أن تكون صوفيًّا، مولانا جلال الدين الرومي في الهند، الرومي بين الشرق والغرب، أمّية النبي محمد، وأشرف على العديد من الكتب الصادرة في التصوف منها (الإسلام الموازي في تركيا- الطريقة البكتاشية) صادر عن مركز المسبار، و(المولوية النصوص والتاريخ والآفاق) كما صدر له عدة نصوص تراثية محققة منها: مسألة الإيمان للإمام الأشعري، رد المفتري عن الطعن في الششتري، الدين والدولة في إثبات نبوة محمد لعلي بن ربّن الطبري، ونصوص في التحريف ودفاع عن الإنجيل.

من النادر أن نعثر على نصوص عربية مخطوطة في تراثنا الصوفي، فأغلب ما كُتب حول مولانا جلال الدين الرومي دوّن باللغة الفارسية، لكننا بعد تتبعنا لأدبيات التصوف المولوي عثرنا على ثلاثة مخطوطات هامة كُتبت باللغة العربية، تساهم في تعريفنا بحياة الرومي وشمس تبريزي وتعاليمهما الصوفية، كما تتناول بدايات تتشكّل الطريقة المولوية في قونيه، وتلقي ضوءاً على شروط الإنتساب إلى تلك الطريقة، إن نصّاً من هذه النصوص كتبه الشيخ إسماعيل الأنقروي وهو من أهم شرّاح المثنوي، لذا رأينا في نشره والعناية به متابعة لإهتمامنا بكل ما كُتب عن الرومي بالعربية، ونأمل أن نكون قد وفقنا في هذه النشرة وتابعنا خطى السابقين الذين حققوا وترجموا وألفوا بالعربية عن مولانا جلال الدين الرومي.
