لطفية الدليمي، وهي كاتبة وصحفية عراقية ناشطة في الدفاع عن حقوق المرأة، ولدت في بعقوبة في محافظة ديالى عام 1939، واكملت دراستها في مدارس بغداد، وحصلت على شهادة بكالوريوس آداب في اللغة العربية، وتعتبر من أكبر المدافعات عن حقوق المرأة في العراق.

البشر جميعاً - وليست وحدها - صُهروا في بوتقة هائلة يسمونها الحب أو العشق أو الغرام وهي ليست سوى الرغبة في تلاحم الأعراق والأجساد خوفَ التلاشي في خديعة الموت، الكل وُلِدوا من مكيدة نشوة عارمة سرت في اللحم صعقة مكهربة، عشقوا وتناسلوا وتخالطت أنسابهم وخانوا وتقاتلوا وأسسوا البيوت وأقواس النصر وميادين المدن والأسواق ومنازل البغاء والبنوك، وأكل ملامَحهم عفنُ الكراهية أو جذام الجشع ثم انشغلوا بتوسيع المدافن التي عزّزتها صراعاتهم والحروب...
