الحمد لله وكفى وصلاة وسلامًا على عباده الذين اصطفى وأصلي وأسلم على المبعوث رحمة للعاملين النبي الأمي الذي يؤمن بالله وكلماته وبعد فإن المدينة المنورة منذ وصلها رسول الله "صلى الله عليه وسلم" قد أخذت وضعًا متميزًا كعاصمة لدولة كبيرة هي دولة الاسلام مما حدا بالمؤرخين أن يتتبعوا آثارها وتاريخها وحضارتها وهو كتاب مهم لأنه يعالج قضية أساسية يحاول المؤلف من خلالها الوصول إلى هدف نبيل هو إعادة مساجد النبي "صلى الله عليه وسلم" التي أسست في عهده التي صلى فيها أو أنشئت بفضله "صلى الله عليه وسلم" حينما أذن لبعض الصحابة ببنائها لأن أماكنهم نائبة عن مسجد رسول الله "صلى عليه وسلم" أو لعله مرض أو عذر فجمع مؤلفنا هذه المساجد في تلك الرسالة خاصة أن معظم هذه المساجد قد خفي واندرس وضاع مع مضي الزمان فقام بجهد بارز في الكشف عن أماكن تلك المساجد والإرشاد عنها مما يجعل لكتابه المكانة العالية وسوف نعرض في الصفحات التالية عرض موجزًا عن المؤلف وكتابه.
