وهو في عمله إستعان بتفسيرات من ظلال القرآن للشهيد "سيد قطب" والإمام "حسن البنا" وكذلك "محمد رشيد رضا" إلى جانب أمهات كتب التفسير كتفسير الطبرى والقرطبى وغيرهما.. إنه عمل يهدف إلى "تربية الأمة الإسلامية" بما أراد لها خالقها.. إنه منهج التربية فى القرآن بل هو التفسير التربوى له.
جدت شؤون ، وتغيرت أحوال، وتجددت أفهام، فكان التفكير فى وضع تفسير يتناسب ونمط سرعة العصر الذى نعيش فيه، بأن نتناول تفسير الآيات بطريقة ومنهج يعين على المعايشة والتفاعل معها، تيسيرا على من أراد أن يأخذ نفسه وغيره بالقرآن، بطريقة ميسرة، محددة المعالم والأهداف ، وصولا إلى الاستفادات التربوية، حيث يصل القارئ إلى بغيته بأقل مجهود، ودون عناء، دون الدخول فى قضايا لغوية، أو مسائل فقهية، أو مماحكات كلامية أو غير ذلك مما يبعد الإنسان عن روح القرآن واستنباط المعانى التربوية التى هى مقصود الوحى وإنزال القرآن.
