إن محبة آل بيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دلالة على إيمان المرء لأنها نابعة من محبة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الذى أوصى المسلمين بهم خيراً: ( أذكر كم الله فى أهل بيتى، أذكر كم الله فى أهل بيتى).
وهذه المحبة تتطلب منا أن ننزلهم المنزلة اللائقة بهم، باعتبارهم بشراً، ولكن ليس من المقبول شرعاً أو عقلا أن يصل حبنا لهم بأن نساويهم بالأنبياء والمرسلين عليهم السلام، وندعى لهم - أى للأئمة- العصمة، بل ونرفعهم عن درجة الملائكة المقربين على حد قول الشيعة: (أن لأئمتنا مقاماً لم يصل إليه ملك مقرب ولا بنى مرسل)!!
وهذا الكتاب يتناول الحديث عن أصل التشيع وأهدافه وفرقه كمقدمة لموضوع الكتاب الأساسى وهو: (عصمة الأئمة عند الشيعة) ببيان:
- منشأ هذا المعتقد
والمقصد من وراء ذلك
ثم ذكر أهم أدلتهم والرد عليها
وأخيراً بيان المفاسد المترتبة على ذلك.
