وفي هذا الكتاب– عزيزي القارئ– سلك بنا المؤلف مسلكاً مختلفاً فهو لم يتبن وجهة نظر مسبقة ثم جمع حولها الأدلة ولوى أعناق النصوص ليدلل على صدقها. لم يفعل ذلك بل جرد نفسه من الهوى وبحث الأمر بموضوعية وبمنهج علمي قاده– أي المنهج– في النهاية إلى طريق ثالث بين شطط المؤيدين للكرامة وإجحاف المنكرين لها فعرض لنا في الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا معنى الكرامة والولاية. والفرق بينهما وبين المعجزة, والكرامة في القرآن، وهل توجد كرامات قبل الأسلام أم لا؟ وهل للصحابة والتابعين كرامات؟ وإذا كان فما هي؟ كما أجاب عن كثير من الأسئلة التي ربما تخطر على أذهاننا ولانعرف لها إجابة في دائرة الحيرة والقلق.
