" قاب قوسيك " ديوان شعري لمحمد بن مكي النّعمي يرتكز وجدانياً على زخم تراثي غاية في الغنى إن على المستوى الدلالي أم على المستوى الفني الجمالي أو حتى على المستوى الإيحائي الإحالي ، وهو ما تمثله عتبات العناوين الصريحة للقصائد " بيان " ، " ما زال سرك " ، " قلمٌ أسير " ، " هون عليك " ، " كتابة " وغيرها ، مع محاولة اقتحام عوالم الأبدية والكونية المثلى بكل تجلياتها ومعانيها " ضاق القضاء ووجه الأرض أنكرني / لا الأرض أرضي ولا المريخ مريخي / أنّى اتجهت أدار التيه بوصلتي / كأن كف المدى تسعى لتدويخي ، ( ... ) " ثم ينطلق الشاعر ليرتقي رؤى الخيال المسكونة بالرؤيا الكشفية القائمة على الإتحاد والحلول في جوهر الذات / الشاعرة " وارتقي لبروج الجو تحملني / رؤى الخيال التي رسمت / بوح الغمام على سطر التضاريس / أعود للطينة العطشى التي احترفت / رعي الجذور على رغم المتاريس / وأعتقد الشعر أوزاناً وقافيةً / وأنفثُ الحبر في صدر القراطيس ( ... ) " .
قدم للديوان بمقدمة الشريف عمر بن فيصل آل زيد ، ومما جاء فيها : " وكيف أُقدم لمن أقف خلفه !! في ديوان الأول .. تشرفت بمصافحة الشعر يافعاً متجذراً وكأنني أدلف إلى حديقةٍ غنّاء . فلقد جمع الشاعر الشريف محمد بن مكي النعمي سلافة فكره في إنتاجه الأول بكل ما يحوي مكانه ومكانته . فلقد جمع بين الطارف والتليد . فهو ينحدر نسباً من أسرة عُرفت بالفكر والبلاغة بدءاً من جده الأعلى سيدنا علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه . ولد شاعرنا وترعرع في رحاب طيبة الطيبة مأزر الإيمان وعاصمة الحضارة الإسلامية الأولى وملتقى حضارات الشعوب لينقل لنا مزيجاً من العطاء الفكري . ولقد قمّصني كعادة أبناء بيوت السادة ثوباً قشيباً لأقدم لديوانه الأول ... " .
يضم الديوان قصائداً في الشعر العربي الموزون والمقفى جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية : " بيان " ، " ما زال سرك " ، " قلمٌ أسير " ، " هون عليك " ، " إعتذار " ، " جئتُ حساناً " ، " مكي الإمام " ( ... ) وعناوين أخرى .
