في إطار الحديث عن الإنسان عموماً، والإنسان الكامل خصوصاً، وهو النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم بمظهريته للكمال، وجمعه للجلال والجمال، قدم الشيخ عبد الكريم الجيلي ثلاثة كتب قيمة لعلم من أعلام التصوف الإسلامي قي القرن الثامن الهجري. وهذه الكتب هي :
الأول: كتاب (قاب قوسين وملتقى الناموسين)تحدث فيه عن الكمال المحمدي حساً ومعنى، ومظهريته للجلال والجمال الإلهي مفصلاً الحديث عن محتد روحه وتعاليها في الحضرات الذاتية وتنزلها في مجالي الصفات والأسماء الحسنى، إلى العالم الكوني في كماله الجسدي الظاهر والروحي الباطن، وتحدث فيه عن تميز قابليته صلى الله عليه وسلم عن قابلية الموجودات سواه وعن سر كونه حبيب الله، وعن كيفية التخلق بأخلاقه صلى الله عليه وسلم، وغير ذلك من أنوار ملكوتية وأسراره جبروتية.
والثاني: كتاب (النقطة) الموسوم (بحقيقة الحقائق التي هي للحق من وجه، ومن وجه للخلائق) ومقصوده من هذا الكتاب: بيان معرفة الله تعالى حق معرفته، ليس فقط بالدليل والبرهان، بل بالشهود والعيان، وهو العلم الضروري الذوقي الوهبي.
والثالث: كتاب (رسالة الإسفار الغريب نتيجة السفر القريب)، بتحدث المؤلف فيه عما انطوى عليه الإنسان من حقائق عوالم سفلية وأسرار لطائف علوية خفية. هذا، وإتماماً للفائدة، أتبع هذه الكتب الثلاثة بعينية مهمة لمؤلف الكتب الثلاثة الإمام الجيلي، جاءت جامعة لكل ما تضمنته من حقائق كونية حسية، ولطائف ملكوتية روحية، وأسرار جبروتية أمرية.
